Overview

ThrowbackCam™ provides retro camcorder rentals for weddings, parties, graduations, corporate events, and other celebrations. By booking a rental, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.

Booking & Payment

• A non‑refundable deposit is required to secure your event date.

• Remaining balance is due 48 hours before your event.

• Your booking is not confirmed until payment is received.

• Prices may change at any time, but confirmed bookings will not be affected.

Cancellations, Refunds & Rescheduling

• All payments are non‑refundable.

• If you cancel within 7 days of your event, the full balance remains due.

• If ThrowbackCam™ must cancel due to equipment failure or unforeseen circumstances, you will receive a full refund.

• Rescheduling is allowed based on availability; additional fees may apply.

Equipment Use & Responsibility

• You are responsible for the camcorder from delivery/pickup until return.

• Any loss, theft, or damage will result in a replacement or repair fee.

• Misuse, water damage, or intentional damage will incur full replacement cost.

• Only the provided charger, battery, and accessories may be used.

• Late returns may incur a daily late fee.

• If not returned within 7 days, the camera is considered lost and charged at full replacement value.

Footage Ownership, Editing & Data

• All footage recorded on the camcorder is transferred to ThrowbackCam™ for editing.

• You receive full rights to your final edited video.

• ThrowbackCam™ may request permission to use clips for marketing; you may decline.

• Raw footage may be deleted 30 days after delivery of your final edit.

• ThrowbackCam™ is not responsible for:

  • Corrupted files

  • Missing footage

  • Guest misuse

  • Poor lighting, audio, or filming angles

  • Unusable or inappropriate footage

Delivery of Final Video

• Edited highlight films are delivered within 7–14 business days after the camcorder is returned.

• Rush editing may be available for an additional fee.

• Final videos are delivered digitally via download link.

Event Content & Conduct

• You are responsible for informing guests that they may be recorded.

• ThrowbackCam™ may exclude footage that is unsafe, explicit, or violates platform guidelines.

Liability

ThrowbackCam™ is not responsible for:

• Missed moments

• Guest filming errors

• Event interruptions, weather, or venue restrictions

• Loss of footage due to guest misuse

• Technical failures beyond our control

We guarantee the equipment is functional at the time of delivery.

​These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the State of Texas. Any disputes shall be handled in Dallas County, Texas.

Intellectual Property

All branding, logos, website content, and edited videos created by ThrowbackCam™ remain the intellectual property of ThrowbackCam™ unless otherwise stated.
